Day 5 Of Cruise - Manzanillo

Our third and final stop before returning to San Diego was the city of Manzanillo. On this stop we decided to go on a snorkeling trip which was fairly interesting since neither Christie or I had been snorkeling before.

In the morning we boarded our boat for about an hour ride over to the snorkeling area. Even though it was morning it was already getting fairly warm. The scenery in the aread was beautiful as any of the other beach resort areas we had been prior to this.

Once we arrived at our destination, we got our snorkeling equipment and jumped in the water. Lael had purchased an underwater camera to take pictures of any fish we saw. We spent about an hour snorkeling (Christie went back to the boat after about half an hour). The water was not as clear as we had hoped, but we did see some small fish and even managed to get some pictures.

After snorkeling, we boarded the boat for the trip back. While we were snorkeling, the tour guides had caught a live puffer fish which was very cool. They would take it out of the bucket that they were keeping it in so that we could take some pictures.

Also during the ride back there was a open bar with Margheritas and beer (woohoo!!!) and the tour guides sponsored a beer chugging contest for both men and women...a good time was had by all. Christie even got a henna tattoo on her ankle of dolphins - she tried to convince her father it was a real tattoo!
